We're Alexa and Mia, bilingual educators, native Mandarin speakers, and graduates of NYU Steinhardt. With over 10 years of experience in Chinese immersion, bilingual, and ESL education, we're passionate about helping children develop confidence and joy in learning Chinese.

In April 2021, we launched Early Sparks to create engaging Mandarin teaching resources that make language learning meaningful, interactive, and fun. Our materials are designed to support busy teachers and families with practical tools that can be used in real classrooms and homes.

More than anything, we believe that language learning should spark curiosity, build connections, and help children see themselves as capable communicators. Through Early Sparks, we're building a supportive community where educators and families can find the resources, ideas, and encouragement they need to help young learners thrive.
